About Kimberly Harriman (MBA, CPC, CPCO, CPB, CRC, CPC-I), Owner
Founder Kim Harriman has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She currently holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Grantham University; a Bachelors degree in Business Management from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business, is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), a Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO), a Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC), a Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS), and a a Certified Professional Coder Instructor (CPC-I) . Kim is also certified in Lean Six Sigma Management and Lean Six Sigma White Belt. Kim’s experience in coding, billing and compliance includes: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Phlebology, Clinical Laboratories and higher education. She has worked extensively with physicians and coder education sessions. Kim has also served as the President, Vice President and Member Development Officer of the Indianapolis Chapter of the AAPC.
Throughout her career, Kim has been a frequent speaker at trade conferences and published several articles in trade magazines and newsletters regarding medical coding, billing and insurance compliance issues. Having become a recognized expert in her field, Kim was frequently asked to provide consulting services for medical providers nationwide with in-house billing departments. Based on the positive results of her consulting, she received requests to perform the coding and billing functions as an out-sourced provider for several of these clinics. This led to the opening of Healthcare Revenue Consulting, LLC.
